FACILITIES AT DESAI SPICE PLANTATION:
1) Scenic agricultural plantation besides serene ragada rivulet. The farm is situated admist coconut beetlenut and banana trees. DESAI FARM is mere 9-12 kms (20 minutes drive through forests) away Bondla and Tamdi Surla an idealistic setting for a peaceful picnic spot.
Our Agricultural farm contains coconut, beetelnut, banana plantation covering area of 1.5 hectar at Dhada,sattari about 13 kilometers from Tamdi surla temple and 9 kilometers from Bonlda wildlife sanctury.
2) At plantation trails you would be given a guided tour of the spices locally grown including nutmeg,cinamon,blackpepper,ginger,turmeric,cocum,tamarind,curry leaves etc
3) Besides Farm at few meters distance from Ragada tributary of Mandovi.Farm is surrounded by lush green mountains on other three sides.
4) Water fall or bandhara of river ragada (100 meters distance from the farm)
Tourists can relax on the banks of river ragada,cross the river to view the spectacular BANDHARA which is situated at the other side of river. We have small pond which gives you taste of natural mineral water to drink.Enjoy the different riverside activities like fishing,swimming,etc.
5) A true plantation trail would be incomplete without traditional Goan delicacies and food ....Both vegetarian and non vegetarian food will be provided in the village style served on banana leaves
