Ponneri is a town in north of Chennai in Thiruvallur district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is located in Ponneri taluk. The neighbourhood is served by the Ponneri railway station of the Chennai Suburban Railway Network.

The development will also be supported by large scale investment by TN Government in improving the Road network and Connectivity, adequate Power supply and Water desalination plants.
