Our group in all honesty never expected this project to turn the way it actually did. Navdurga initially was a humbly planned building having 2 wings comprising of 1 & 2 BHK flats catering to the sparse residential population of Govandi-Deonar belt. With the change in trends of the residential flats in Chembur-Deonar-Govandi, our project director Mr Pawan Shetty and planning architect Mr. Joydeep Mukherjee envisioned and created a architectural masterpiece in form of a 14 storied tower housing a total of 52 residential flats. As was the case with Project Shraddha, Architect Mukherjee here again intelligently accommodated spacious 2 BHK (3 nos.) & 3 BHK (1 no.) on each floor. Although the plot was over 2000 sq mtrs, due to its triangular shape, planning & executing this complex was extremely difficult, but the group managed to pull off this task quite commendably. The project was 75% to 80% booked during the construction stage is a testament to the fact that the project was really appreciated by one & all. Today in its completed avatar, the group can proudly acclaim, if not the best but one of the best buildings in that area.
